Benicolet is situated in the la Safor region of the Costa del Azahar, in the province of Valencia. Benicolet is on the CV610 road leading to Xativa. With it's wild unspoilt mountain scenery it is a place of incredible natural beauty. A short drive up some of the mountain tracks will lead you to breathtaking views. Head inland to Xativa with its magnificent castle perched on razor back mountain dating back to 219 B.C. Or take in the coastline at Gandia some 16km away.

The average yearly temperatures are idyllic, 32°C in summer, 18°C in spring, 19°C in autumn and 12°C in winter. The surrounding farmlands are mainly orange groves (hence the name Costa del Azahar - meaning Orange Blossom coast). The orange groves, being evergreen give an all year round lush feeling to the place and in the spring the air is filled with the scent of orange blossom.

All this makes for an ideal and fun location to fly, or learn to fly a microlight.
