The outdoor enthusiast is well catered for in the region.

On the coast it is possible to water-ski, fish, sail, windsurf, swim, scuba dive, or just lay on the beach, relax and sunbathe. There are marinas in Gandia, Oliva, Denia and Javea. The beaches are, in a word, magnificent.

The mountains offer a whole host of activities as well as breathtaking scenery, including climbing, rambling, riding, cycling, or just wandering to your hearts content.

There are a vast selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, ranging from typical Spanish cuisine to a few Chinese and Indian restaurants. For the kiddies among us there is even a McDonalds, Burger King and Pizza Hut in Gandia.
